Terms and Conditions

1. Scope & provider

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers and businesses through this online shop with the following provider:

2. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of products in the shop does not constitute a binding offer but an invitation to order. By submitting your order and completing payment you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded once we confirm your order by email or dispatch the goods.

3. Custom-made products

Most of our pieces are handcrafted to your specification (bead selection, size, thread, clasp). As these are handmade from natural materials, slight variations in colour, shape and grain may occur. Such variations do not constitute a defect.

4. Prices & shipping costs

All prices are final prices in Euro. Pursuant to § 19 of the German VAT Act (small business regulation) no VAT is charged or shown. Shipping costs may apply in addition.

Current shipping costs and delivery times are listed on the Shipping & Returns page and are summarised in the cart before you complete your order.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. Depending on availability, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and other methods can be used. The invoice amount is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

6. Delivery

Production usually takes 2–5 business days before dispatch. Stated delivery times are non-binding estimates unless a fixed date has been expressly agreed. If an item is unavailable, we will inform you immediately and refund any payments already made.

7. Retention of title

Delivered goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

8. Right of withdrawal

Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Full details and the model withdrawal form can be found in our cancellation policy.

Note: pursuant to § 312g(2)(1) of the German Civil Code, there is no right of withdrawal for goods that are not prefabricated and are made based on an individual selection by the consumer – this applies in particular to pieces configured individually in our configurator.

9. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply. In the event of production faults or transport damage, please contact us within 14 days of receipt at service@rock-bead.com.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

11. Care & use

Handmade beaded jewellery is delicate. Please avoid contact with water, perfume, cream and strong tensile strain. Damage caused by improper use is excluded from warranty.

12. Dispute resolution

The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

13. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
